Barkathullah Khan Stadium

Barkatullah Khan Stadium, which is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is currently used for cricket, association football and hockey matches. Even though the stadium was built in 1986/87, it has been used occasionally. Barkathullah Khan Stadium with two ends called Cox Cutir End and Regidency Road End has a seating capacity of 30, 000 people. It becomes the 35th ground of India to host a one-dayer, while Jodhpur became the 31st venue if India to host an ODI.

Now Barkatullah Khan Stadium has flood lights that are fitted by GE electric and newly developed world class team dressing rooms. There are also new stands for camera for best live coverage. The lighting in the stadium was designed to support HDTV broadcasting. An international test match is not held in this stadium. But it hosted tour bilateral series tournaments in 2000 and 2002. Barkatullah Stadium also got the fortune to be the venue of some world and Indian records. It was in Barkatullah stadium that Sachin Tendulkar slammed his first century against Zimbabwe with 146 runs on home soil in the third one-dayer.

Sardar Club

Sardar Club, which was established in the beginning of the 20th century, offers many sports facilities like an 18 holes Golf, tennis courts, squash courts, swimming pool, billiards and pool tables.
Golf: As Jodhpur is a desert city and due to the scarcity of water, the golf course in the Sardar Club features browns instead of greens. The Club members here have participatedand performed brilliantly in the Inter Club Championships.

Tennis: There are two hard court Tennis Court in Sardar Club that features flood lighting for evening play.

Squash: Sardar Club has two squash courts and the club has produced many National Level Squash players over the years.

Billiards & pool: There is a Billiards and Pool table in Sardar Club. The members show avid interest in this game.

Swimming Pool: The Sardar Club has recently added a swimming pool to the club facilities and it was long overdue. Many people use the facility of swimming pool on temporary membership basis here.

Umed Club

Umed Club is a family-oriented club that offers various fun and sports facilities for the members and their families to get together and relax. Many sports facilities such as badminton, billiards, squash table tennis and tennis courts are available here.

Squash: The club has two squash courts that are available in half-hour bookings. The charge is Rs 150 per month for an half hour up to 7:30 PM and three quarters of an hour after that.

Tennis: The club has three tennis courts that are maintained daily to provide great playing conditions. The lighting facilities here help the members to enjoy the game late in the evening. These tennis courts are considered among the finest in Rajasthan. The tennis courts are open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8 PM.  The club employs a tennis professional during tennis season who gives half-hour or hour long lessons.

Swimming Pool: There is a 15 meter swimming pool with a dedicated fast lane and toddler pool in the Umed Club that is open from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm.
